Climbing to the ground floor on the spiral staircase, the visitor imagines the imaginary experience of man's coexistence with nature, when the tendency to know and use it in the process of culture development is in full harmony according to the existing model in the natural environment. This harmony is demonstrated by the beauty of popular creation that reflects the charm of the surrounding nature. The exhibition of this hall embodies a "Great House", where, according to the traditions of the nation, are kept the best fabrics, extraordinary carpets, folk costumes, rites, dowry and where the most important events and customs of any family life take place. All these masterpieces of folk art reflect the richness and refinement of the spiritual conception of our predecessors, who created a popular civilization inspired by the greatness of nature. "Game" (author F. Hămuraru) are exhibited folk costumes from all ethnographic areas of the republic, which perfectly combine the elements of the creation of nature and man. The custom of removing the dowry from the bride's house completes the diversity of folk customs, being staged in a landscape in the Codrilor area (author M. Statnîi). The elements of peasant architecture in wood and stone prove the capacity of man to fit into the natural environment and the influence of nature in establishing the national specificity in culture.
