The collection of interior textiles attests to a wide spread and a wide variety of their name. The functions of these pieces are multiple, they often temporarily fulfill different roles. The collection represents the traditions of all the districts of the Republic of Moldova, as well as of Bessarabia. Classified on the basis of the material from which they are made, they can be grouped into: hemp fabrics, wool fabrics, cotton fabrics, linen fabrics, borangic fabrics. Classified according to the techniques of weaving and decoration, the pieces can be divided into: simple, high, unseen, with choices, embroidered, with horbotica, fringes and hemp. The decoration of many towels, tablecloths, sheets, embroidery is completed with lace (horbotica).
