În perioada 13-16 iunie curent, un grup de angajați ai Muzeului Național de Etnografie și Istorie Naturală au participat la Festivalul de Storytelling (Berättarfestival) din orașul Ljungby, Suedia. Ajuns la ediția XXX, festivalul reunește anual povestitori profesioniști, actori, folcloriști, pedagogi și jurnaliști din întreaga lume, care promovează arta povestirii orale (în engleză, storytelling). Cu ajutorul competențelor narative și actoricești, participanții la eveniment au prezentat în fața publicului povești și legende populare, balade, pilde, povestiri moralizatoare, memorii personale. Specialiștii MNEIN au vizitat Muzeul Legendelor (Sagomuseet) din Ljungby și au parcurs o porțiune a traseului turistic „Tărâmul Legendelor” din regiunea Kronoberg. Evenimentul este organizat de Asociația Povestitorilor (Sagobygden) din Kronoberg, organizație acreditată de UNESCO, care promovează tradiția povestirii orale în Suedia și pe plan internațional. Participarea delegației de la Chișinău a fost susținută de Institutul Suedez din Stockholm, în cadrul Proiectului „Forța Creativă a Povestitului pentru Coeziune Socială”. Republica Moldova a fost reprezentată la eveniment de Petru Vicol, director general MNEIN, Andrei Prohin, secretar științific, Dorina Onica, șef Secție Etnografie, Ludmila Iftodi, șef filială „Rezervația peisagistică Țâpova-Saharna”, Viorica Olaru-Cemârtan, cercetător științific la Universitatea Uppsala, Campus Gotland.

A VISIT TO THE MUSEUM OF LEGENDS FROM LJUNGBY (SWEDEN)
Between 13-16 of June a group of employees of the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History (MNEIN) participated at the Storytelling Festival (Berättarfestival) of Ljungby, Sweden. This year, the festival celebrates its 30th edition. It assembles annually professional storytellers, actors, folklorists, pedagogues and journalists from all over the world, who promote the art of oral storytelling. Using their narrative and performative skills, the participants of the event presented to the public a range of folk tales and legends, ballads, parables, moralizing stories, as well as personal memories. The MNEIN experts visited the Museum of Legends (Sagomuseet) from Ljungby and experienced a portion of the touristic itinerary “The Land of Legends” from the Kronoberg region. The event was organized by the Storytelling Network (Sagobygden) from Kronoberg, an organization accredited by UNESCO, that promotes the tradition of oral storytelling in Sweden and on international level. The participation of the delegation from Chișinău was supported by the Swedish Institute from Stockholm, within the Project “Creative Force of Storytelling for Social Cohesion”. The Republic of Moldova was represented at the event by Petru Vicol, general director of the MNEIN, Andrei Prohin, scientific secretary, Dorina Onica, head of the Department of Ethnography, Ludmila Iftodi, head of the branch “The Landscape Reserve Țâpova-Saharna”, Viorica Olaru-Cemârtan, scientific researcher at the Uppsala University, Campus Gotland.
